Our hydraulic oils are one of the more sensitive oils. They are easily susceptible to contamination and have to endure harsh conditions which put their additives to work. With hydraulic oils one of the main additives is the antiwear additive which protects the internals of the machine from wear. However, these are usually quickly depleted.
