A sample valve is attached to flow petroleum gas through the coil and a 3mm needle valve is opened as the outlet of the gas. The coil and the two valves are fixed onto the top plate of the construction. The rugged construction ensures safe opeation of both valves whilst the construction can be easily taken out of the bath for maintenance an cleaning.

The Tamson ASTM D4807 apparatus is designed for sediment determinations by membrane filtrations in crude oil. Tamson supplies a complete apparatus for this test method, including the robust TC16 circulator bath, jacketed funnel, filtered flask, vacuum pump and stand. The TC16 is equipped with a levelling platform and a cover with rings to preheat the toluene in a beaker at +90°C. The Tamson ASTM D4807 apparatus is equipped with a jacketed funnel, which is much safer to use than wired copper around a single wall funnel.
